BarnCat Inc. Engineering Services was founded in 2002 by Charlie Cote. The goal of BarnCat is to provide fast efficient
and high quality Engineering services to large and small industrial firms, and process operators. BarnCat works behind the
scenes to support client companies with the development of new products, design of processes and controls and the
troubleshooting and improvement of existing processes.
Since its founding in 2002 BarnCat has completed
projects for 9 different industrial OEMs (including 3
international turbine manufacturers) and 25
different industrial process and utility operators.
BarnCat has also participated as a professional
expert witness in 3 industrial accident investigations.
Prior to the completion of his Mechanical Engineering degree
Charlie was a railroad heavy equipment mechanic and
maintenance welder. During these eight years of machinery
maintenance he learned the value of service, hard work and
integrity. After engineering school he learned his engineering
chops while working at Woodward and General Electric.
BarnCat has long term relationships with many
Electrical Engineering, Machine Shop, Assembly
and Test, Field Service, Metallurgy Lab and
Environmental Lab partners who can be engaged
when necessary to complete large and small
modernization and development projects for your
company. Many of these service providers are
national and international firms that can quickly
provide small and large services close to your site.
When necessary, large jobs can be completed in a
turn key fashion or by referral to these
subcontractors quickly and efficiently.
